      How is Starbucks coping with the COVID-19 Pandemic?

        Given the recent COVID-19 pandemic, businesses all around the world have had to cope with the changing laws and restrictions being mandated globaly. This has been extraordinarily challenging, as Starbucks has had to implement new regulations to ensure the safety of both their  employees and costumers. 

    In this period of unknown, Starbucks has powerfully recognized the significant efforts of the front-line responders and health care commuity as a whole. The coporation has announced that throughout the month of December, all U.S Starbucks will be offering a free tall brewed coffee (hot or iced) to front-line responders. This promotion is intended to show great gratitude and appreciation to those working to keep our local communities safe during COVID-19. 

    In addition to providing a free cup of coffee, Starbucks has generously dohnated $100,000 to National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to further support front-line responders. Starbucks also has plans to surprise 50,000 front line responders with care packages and Starbucks gift cards during this upcoming holiday season. Their ongoing mission to support the medical industry during these diffuclt times, has been an essential priority. 

    Starbucks has further  worked to establish various other ordering methods, given every state's mandates may varry. These options include: ordering at the drive thru, curbside pickup through the Starbucks app, or placing an order for delivery through Starbucks delivers. The company wants to provide great quality, while also minimizing direct interactions that could chance the spread of this dangerous virus. 

   As our world continues to surivive this pandemic, it's vital that we all adminster a sense of patience. The recent circumstances has made it tough, as most of the Starbucks community is simply surviving off drive-thru orders and online deliveries. As a coporation, they understand that these limitations can be frustrating. However their main concern remains, protecting the safety and health of their employess and costumers worldwide.
